Our 2026 subscription brings you a selection of five books across the next year, each arriving on your doorstep a month ahead of publication. At a special price of £55, you’ll save £12 on the cover prices, while helping to support our publishing into 2027 and beyond.

When you order we’ll send you a beautiful risograph gift certificate, handmade by Burley Fisher Community Press. Delivery is guaranteed before 15 December (but don’t worry if you miss the cut off, as we’ll also send you a PDF certificate!). If you are giving a subscription as a gift, please see the instructions at the bottom of the page.

The books included in the 2026 subscription are:

The History of the Vertebrate by Mar García Puig (translated by Mara Faye Lethem), a blistering personal and political history of postpartum psychosis (shipping March)

No Ghosts by Max Lury, a startling debut novel that plumbs the undercurrents of feeling underneath emergent technologies to ask what new forms haunting might take in an increasingly digital world (shipping March)

Too Little/Too Hard (edited by Lucy Mercer and Livia Franchini), a collection of essays from some of the most exciting contemporary writers about literature, work, time, and value (shipping May)

Paradise Burns by Pol Guasch (translated by Mara Faye Lethem), a lyrical, sensorial reflection on friendship, memory, and longing in a world beset by plague (shipping September)

Against Literature by Lola Olufemi, a wide-ranging critique of the conservatism of contemporary Anglo-American literary culture that makes a powerful case for an engaged literature (shipping October)

* If you are planning to give a subscription as a gift, please just write ‘GIFT’ in the ‘Add a note to your order’ box at checkout, along with the address we should send the certificate to (and then, on the next page, put the recipient’s address as the delivery address and we’ll send the books straight to them throughout the year). *

* If you need to change your address at any point, just drop us a line and we'll update *

* A note for customers outside the UK: because of the high cost of postage, books will be sent in two batches, with the first three books to ship in May and the remaining two books to ship in October. *
